Course Description

Course Description: Breaking up can be hard to do. This contracts course by Bart
Stockton examines both common and lesser-known contract termination scenarios
contained in the TREC contracts and addenda. The students will also learn best practices
to avoid unintentional or failed terminations as well as what the contracts say about
default.
Relevance to License Holder: Clients put their trust in real estate license holders to
properly complete contract forms and guide them through the process, which sometimes
includes terminating a contract. The license holder will learn how to explain and navigate
the various termination provisions of the forms to increase their contract mastery.
